Fejlja / Concept
The memory behind a better answer.
A technical concept for controlled experience context. Not a finished product promise.
Why context is missing
A general language model does not automatically know someone’s decision history. Without relevant context, it may repeat an unsuitable recommendation. An experience journal should first make that knowledge useful to the person.
The smallest useful unit
An entry connects situation, original assumption, decision, observed outcome, insight and a testable next action. Facts, interpretations and open questions should remain distinct.
Retrieve context, do not share everything
A possible RAG architecture could select only insights released for a particular request. Permissions would need to apply before retrieval. Deletion would need to cover the journal, search index, derived data and any external copies.
Memory is not fine-tuning
Giving a model selected journal material as context does not automatically change its weights. Fejlja therefore does not promise an already trained private model or an existing integration.
Privacy must become architecture
Data minimisation, export, deletion, access control and encryption are development goals. A zero-knowledge claim would require a verified architecture and clear key management. The public website does not fulfil such a journal promise.
Quality before answer volume
Meaningful measures include fewer repeated mistakes, traceable sources, more suitable next steps and visible uncertainty. A future system would need tests for unauthorised sharing, prompt injection and false memories.
